I have always been a people pleaser, and despite being allowed one, I have never been a man who held strong opinions without the opposing position casting some modicum of doubt on the rightness of my choice.
And the not being wrongness was very important, since being wrong was clearly the shortest path to being ostracised. This lack of opinion is starting to get in the way, holding up decisions, causing frustrations. So it's time I started choosing hills to die on. Maybe.
