The Soundhouse is Leicester's Premier independent live venue located in the heart of the Culture Quarter. Proud to bring the best of both local and touring artists to Leicester. Our distinctive building is painted blue with white waves halfway down Southampton St, close to Curve theatre and the Phoenix Arts Centre. There is some on street parking outside and our nearest carpark is NCP Rutland Centre.
Den Of Laughs programmes our comedy for Leicester Comedy Festival (nominated for best promoter award, 2025). With 25 FANTASTICALLY FUNNY SHOWS to choose from, there's something for everyone: Standup, Musical Comedy, Character Acts, Sketch and Improv shows, and mixed bill showcases sampling all of the above.

Note: We're easily distinguishable, the SoundHouse is painted with blue and white waves. We're halfway down Southampton Street. We're close to The Curve theatre (less than 4 minutes walk away) and the Phoenix Arts Centre (2 minutes walk away). There is some on street parking outside and our nearest carpark is NCP Rutland Centre. We're less than 10 minutes walk from the train station.
